Very comfortable with the statement that the neo-Nazis were looking to antagonize, and that the Antifa would not exist without the neo-Nazis. I do think that if we want to retain credibility as truth-tellers, and if what we are evaluating is whether there is aggressive violence, then we — as truth-seekers — do need to recognize that some Antifa gave in to the provocation and behaved in a violently aggressive manner. Doing so allows us to retain credibility, through criticizing those on “our side” — meaning the side against the neo-Nazis — who crossed the line. That is the underlying message of my post.
